Georgia is a highly skilled lawyer with wide-ranging expertise, having worked in both private practice and in State and Federal government.

Georgia is a passionate and enthusiastic advocate for her clients. She takes a keen interest in understanding their business imperatives and helping them identify solutions that suit their needs. Georgia’s advice typically has a practical focus which her clients value.

Areas of Practice

Georgia provides advice in all areas of employment law, including disputes, employment contracts and policies, managing misconduct, poor performance, restraints and end of employment matters.

Georgia regularly defends clients in the Fair Work Commission, in relation to unfair dismissal and adverse action claims.

Experience and expertise

Georgia commenced her career as an employment lawyer at a large national firm but took a detour through the world of public policy, working for the Attorney-General’s Department in Canberra. She has also worked for the Victorian Department of Education, advising in relation to anti-discrimination and employment laws, before returning to private practice.

With expertise across the full spectrum of workplace legal issues (litigious and non-litigious), Georgia has worked with a diverse range of private and public clients, small businesses, and not-for profits from industries including finance, education, technology, health, sport, recruitment, as well as all levels of government.
