The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to work with diverse, high-calibre clients—including public sector organizations, local government, and educational institutions—while being part of a genuinely supportive team environment.

You’ll provide strategic employment law advice, mentor junior colleagues, and play a key role in shaping positive workplace outcomes for our clients. Your work will be shared collaboratively across the firm, ensuring you’re never isolated and always supported.

About You

Essential criteria:

  • 6-10 years post-admission experience
  • Availability to work a minimum equivalent of four days per week
  • Excellent technical legal skills
  • Commitment to collaborative, team-based client service
  • Passion for client-focused, practical problem-solving
  • A flexible and open-minded approach

Highly valued experience in:

  • Broad workplace and employment law
  • Litigation, ADR, and advocacy
  • Training and presenting on employment matters
  • Enterprise bargaining and industrial disputation
  • Public sector advisory work
  • Workplace investigations and reviews
  • Conflict resolution strategies

You don’t need every skill on this list—but we’re looking for practitioners who combine technical excellence with:

  • A proactive approach to preventing workplace conflict through training, investigations, and innovative HR collaboration
  • Commercial sensibility and cost-effective problem-solving
  • Enthusiasm for business development (experience welcomed but not required)
